Cousin Spike Jnr loves nothing better than a good old burn-up in the yard. From May to October we just can’t do it – surrounded as we are by pine forested mountains poses inherent fire risks one has to respect during our long dry season.

But winter is different. Winter means bonfire season is on!

Ingredients for said event prepared and ready…

Being that it is the time of our school’s winter break,
small person was on hand to help supervise proceedings,
and of course, play Bazinga!
