Winter Blues; Think Summer

Tuesday 28 January, 2014 by Uncle Spike

Mid winter.

Bitterly cold for many.

Wet and windy for others.

No matter how you spend your winter,
sometimes we all need to dream of summer,
and nothing helps better than a decent sunset.

These are a few Turkish sunsets…

I’d love to go back to Turkey, we visited Fethiye in 2011 and it was so beautiful! 🙂 I miss the sunsets! Summer needs to hurry up

  5. It is 2 degrees here! But I will NOT let the winter blues in!!! The pics of your sunsets are refreshing and make me happy to remember we will be enjoying Florida weather a lot more this year!

Lovely pictures! Our winter has become a snowy, brutally cold one. We spent a week closer to the equator to try and get away for a while (and soak up some much needed warmth and sun). It was lovely but coming back has made this winter seem even longer (we still have at least 2 months left). I’ve been thinking summer since we landed! 🙂

Yes! I’m one of those who more or less hate winter. It has it’s beauty, off course, but the cold is devastating. And the icy slippery roads and paths. Can’n walk nor bike properly – and now I’m moaning…. 😉

It’s nice looking at your pictures. There’s so much beauty in the world. 😀
