Plankton bloom ?
arial view of an oil spill in the ocean.
better luck next time.
wow, really good guess, shade of a squid on the beach, washing back out to the ocean.
no worries, soon we will know what it is. thanks for posting, and it is interesting reading the guesses.
Roughly speaking, it’s Turkey but with a bit of coastal erosion so it’s not joined to Bulgaria anymore, unless, of course, the picture has been inverted, or is a mirror image.
Either that, or it’s an alien monopod’s footprint.
Haha, two good answers… but alas.
Answer on it’s way in a short while 🙂
Ice on a windshield. Hey, I’m in New England and it’s cold, so that’s all I could think of.
🙂 nice try… err, nope
Is it a school of fish or a deep sink hole in shallow water ? 🙂
Your wet foot print on to dry concrete?
Wrong. I said that already! LOL Is this driving you bananas yet as that evil Uncle Spike laughs his butt off at all of us, just panting, waiting, for THE ANSWER!!!
A squid under water. And YOU reversing the colors??? NO FAIR! If it’s not a squid then it is a shadow of something under the water. Or the outline of an oil spill that has settled on the bottom of the sand? No that can’t be right. Oil floats. OH! I can hear your laughs. The enjoyment you must get seeing us SO frustrated! You cheat, Uncle Spike! There, I said it! LOL
Still doesn’t get you the prize though 😀
I’ve showed it to a friend she said: ‘it’s like a footprint right? I could be an oil spill which is affecting the carbon footprint!’
HA! Someone else said oil! Whew! Now I don’t feel so bad!
Haha! she also said Seaweed… Uncle Spike will you ever tell us?!
Madeline, I can just hear him laughing at us. No fair. (pout)
I know! I feel him watching our every move as well…
Snoring, nuffink else
Nope… just sleeping when you guys were commenting!
Yes… today, Sunday
(remember we are Tuıkish, so depending on where you are, we could have a hell of a time difference e.g. 7 hours ahead of EST)
Is it a sinkhole or blue hole somewhere in the sea? Or a patch of deeper sea?
Really? Aw thought I had it that time 🙂
A huge group of fish?
Wow, Uncle Spike, I am really touched by all your “likes” today at my blog. I am honored and touched that my work “speaks” to you. (((HUGS))) ~Amy~
You tied your camera to a seagull who you taught to take photos. He came back with it because you feed it, but he’s not telling you what it is.. Right? Some seagull!
(probably a butterfly….part).;
Yes…. getting closer. Can you guess the larger picture?
All day long I have been thinking about this picture (well, not ALL day I must profess) but enough to say, if that is not your footprint at the edge of a large body of water, then OH HECK, that is all I can think it is! And you say CLOSE. How you tease us! LOL
I got it! Your footprint is on the spice Island of Zanzibar, standing at the water’s edge. In my excitement I don’t know if I even spelled the name of the Island right. The idea hit me out of the blue…..OMG, where did Uncle Spike say that gorgeous shot out of the window with only a mesh on it was???? It’s there! You standing with your son on the beach while on the Island of Zanzibar. I won, right???? Did I spell this Island right? LOL LOL LOL
Presoomably a jellyfish?
Nope… sorry 🙂
sunburned back with shoe
Haha – I can see that, but alas…
It’s your footprint in the sand with the waves beginning to wash the “toes” of your footprint away.
DANG! I thought I HAD it! (sigh) I had a “feeling” it couldn’t be that easy…… LOL
I can say this. You have a high arch in your foot.
My second guess…..Wet footprint on cement with toes just barely in a puddle of water, where exactly, that I don’t know. That’s it. I think I’m all guessed out. 🙂
See the ‘clue’ in a couple of hours time…
You are trying my patience……OK. I shall wait. You really know how to put the bait on and dangle the fish, don’t you? LOL
Updated the post…
It’s the stain I found under our toaster oven, how did you get that photo ?
lol – how d’ya guess?
** CLUE COMING UP SOON @ 21:30 (Turkish), or 19:30 GMT, or 14:30 EST **
We have to wait that long?! 😉
only coz its dark here bow, almost din-dins time, then kiddo bedtime etc…
ah fair enough 🙂
It looks like skin to me
Since I’m looking out my window at the snow, I’d like to go the opposite route – looks like a warm day on the beach with a big goober of someone’s suntan lotion spilled out and turned into a weird pattern on the sand! 🙂
lol… not quite Katie, but nice try 😀
Oh well….a girl can dream!
justv updated the post
O says its an aerial view of a lake in a sea of red trees. 😀
He’s getting closer… new clue on it’s way
God stomping on an OTT red algae bloom?
Nope, but sort of on the right tracks…
Trying out a new colour on your wall?
Nope… next ?
An island in the middle of the sea
Is it some type of plankton or fish spawn?
Nope… clue in 3 hours
Oh No, Sasquash !
Nope… good answer though
I can see the Face of Jesus. You could sell it on ebay and make a fortune!
Hahaha… best answer yet, but still nope. Love to explain that one down the mosque 🙂
Looks like your footprint on the carpet
That looks to me like an attrited leather surface. 🙂
Nope. Nice try.
