Sadly, there are too many folk out there who simply cannot accept others are not ‘like them’. This is the start of a New Year. May we all hope and perhaps encourage others, and ourselves, to remember that we are all the same on the inside. So, instead of a resolution, I have a dream…
– We are the same; irrespective of religious belief.
– We are the same; irrespective of skin colour.
– We are the same; irrespective of sexual orientation.
– We are the same; irrespective of race.
– We are the same; irrespective of social standing.
– We are the same; irrespective of political affiliation.
– We are the same; irrespective of personal preferences in life.

You wouldn’t be jealous of it if you saw what the rain or mist does to it. It looks like Hermione Granger’s hair, in the Harry Potter novels, after she’s been cooking up witches’ potions in a steaming cauldron!

My son had hair down to his waist for a while, but nobody would give him a job! When he went to Uni, aged 24, he had it cut short and grew a beard instead.
Oh, the days of a young rocker, indeed, although I hate to say my days were late 60s/early 70s.
