Winter Sky Foto’s (II)
13Friday 27 December, 2013 by Uncle Spike
This a follow-on front yesterday’s post on interesting winter skies…
Winter is a great time in south-west Turkey in terms of interesting skies. Summer lasts from May till October, when there is practically no chance of spotting more than the odd whiff of a cloud. Hence I love wintertime, as you get to witness some beautiful colours right in front of our eyes…

About the same weather pattern where I live in California (plus occasional snow) and the sky is usually at its beauty peak in the winter as well.
Your photos are absoulutely gorgeous.

I know.. love ’em. Can’t get enough of skies this time of year. I love the eternal ‘blue’ of our loooong summer, but relish the winter too.
