Went Out Boat Spotin’…

Clan Spike had a small boat once, this was it. Part owned and cheap to run, but to be honest, we just didn’t get the spare time to make any decent use of it, sadly, so our share was sold to buy paint for the house build at the time.

Perhaps one day in the future we’ll get some replacement water-wings, who knows… but for now, I can just watch and admire from the shore-side.

This part of the world is pretty much a playground for serious and recreational yachties and those who ponce about in large motor cruisers. Every now and then we take a family day out – and Uncle Spike sticks some fresh batteries in the camera just for the occasion.

Here are some photographs taken recently of some nautical beauties.
