Weekly Photo Challenge: Let There Be Light! (II)
13Sunday 01 December, 2013 by Uncle Spike
Let there be light…! Clan Spike’s second entry for this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge is another from here in Turkey.
It is a night scene from Istanbul of the magnificent Sultan Ahmed Mosque, or Blue Mosque as many of you might know it.
The first entry was also from here in Turkey, from an ancient Ottoman medical centre, now known as the Bayezid II Külliye Health Museum.

Best way – more comfy 🙂
I am too largely these days; although much has to do with emigrating to somewhere I used to travel ‘to’…

One of my favourite places in the world Tina. It’s sadly some 14 hours away for us, but certainly looking forward one day to getting back up to Istanbul 🙂

A wonderful picture of tree branches against the lighted parts of the mosque.
