Anyone For Tea?

Friday 22 November, 2013 by Uncle Spike

This little tea house or sort of restuarant is a wonderful stop off point during road trips around these parts. It’s cloudy and cool now, winter is almost here… but these shots take me back a few months to our glorious long summer… 🙂

There are places like this dotted all over as you take off away from the main tourist routes. Best discovered on an old motorbike I reckon, as I first did here back in 1996.

It looks like an oasis, so inviting!

  5. Looks beautiful! Needless to say, in the Chicago area, tea houses are indoors, although they may have outdoor tables for warm weather. Here’s a link to a post about my favorite tea spot, if you’re interested.

  6. The tea house is lovely and the scenery stunning. The motorbike is pretty cool too.
