Weekly Photo Challenge: Saturated
11Saturday 28 September, 2013 by Uncle Spike
For the Weekly Photo Challenge: Saturated, my entry is from a winter holiday we took a couple of years back near Antalya, some four hours’ drive south of us here in Turkey.
Taken in the hotel lobby was this shot. It was not filtered or enhanced in any way, it’s just ‘as it was’. I recall how striking the colour effect was, so it was a simple choice when it came to consider what I could enter for ‘saturated’.

What vivid, deep blues! Excellent. I don’t enhance my photos, either, partly because as of yet, I don’t know how to do it, but I also like getting it just right without enhancement.

Thanks Janet.
It was just a backlit display in a hotel foyer – but it struck me as quite lovely, so I took a snap, nothing more.
As for Photoshop etc, nope, most I do is a bit of cropping – very amatuer (typical mainframe programmer come farmer)
