Same Moon, Different Shot

Monday 23 September, 2013 by Uncle Spike

After my recent moon shooting session (evening and morning), I just thought I’d share this one with you, taken the next night. Again, not brilliant. I don’t have a particularly fancy camera and no tripod.

This shot has been cropped up close, so the detail isn’t crystal clear, but it gives you an idea how impressive it was to the naked eye as it rose over the tops of the pine forested mountains a few hundred metres from our balcony just as we sat there sharing our evening meal. The whole orchard lit up like it was daytime.

I think this is a better shot than the first one. The leaves give it more depth. I can even imagine your orchard being lit up.

...waiting to hear from you...
